There’s More to Wisconsin Dells than Just Waterparks III

This is the last of this series, and yes, I saved the best for last. As a kid I rode my bicycle every day, until I got my driving license, and since then I don’t remember when was the last time I was on a bike. Having kids and being busy all the time didn’t help at all, so one of my requests on this trip was to go biking. After searching and calling a few places, we found Reedsburg Chamber of Commerce, which happened to be the headquarters for the Wisconsin 400 State Trail.  Since we haven’t been on a bicycle in many years we were looking for something basic, with an easy trail that didn’t require any special gear. They were great bikes, friendly people, and for only $5 a bike. I think we biked for 13 miles that day, and it was everything that I wanted it to be. I know you’re thinking it’s just biking, but for someone who doesn’t have many opportunities for fun -without kids- it was very appreciated and enjoyed 🙂

The trail that was developed on an abandoned Chicago-Northwestern Railroad bed, went through many streams, corn fields, and we even got to see wildlife. I definitely can’t wait to do this again. Forgive my first picture, I took it with my phone, but it was too cute I had to share it.

These flowers remind me of my childhood. Growing up in Saudi Arabia it was always warm and they were always around. Such beautiful colors force you to smile.

This guy came to say hi, his friend flew away before I could take a picture.
