There’s More to Wisconsin Dells than Just Waterparks II

I wanted to post this weeks ago, but as usual have so much going on. These were also taken on that same getaway (thanks again grandma) in Wisconsin this summer. As I mentioned in my previous post, being able to stop whenever we want and wherever we want to take pictures was priceless. Every time something caught my attention we just pulled over to explore. There was many lakes, barns, horses, and of course huge corn fields.

While you’re there, make sure to check out Port Vista Bar and Grill, where you can have a juicy 32 ounce steak for $13.95 on Mondays and enjoy this view at the same time. Their deck is right on Lake Delton, and it is really very charming. The night we went we witnessed a guy’s proposal to his girlfriend, it was very cute 🙂 If it’s not Monday, go there anyway for great food and service.

In my next post, I’ll tell you all about our bike ride which was probably my favorite part of our trip.

  1. It’s always great to see great reviews about Wisconsin Dells. My firm actually represents the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau’s website, and to see visitors to the destination really enjoy themselves in the Dells is great!

Thanks for posting such a great review. Please let me know if you ever have any questions about the destination.

Please share your thoughts!
