About Me

Hello everyone,

My name is Rasha and I’m a freelance graphic designer. I studied graphic design in the United States and architecture in the Middle East, at a total of 3 different universities! This has given me a wide range of perspectives that I could not have gained had I not moved so much.  I am inspired by different artistic trends including Classical Greek Art, Arabesque and Modern Architecture. I am a believer that simplicity and elegance can go a long way. I love photography, music, travel, and I am a proud mother of three!

I started this blog to help me rediscover what I have missed while my kids were very young. I also started working from home, which has been great so far. And while it i not easy adding to my hectic life, it has been amazingly rewarding. Nothing tops the feeling of fulfillment and inspiration, so please join me on my  rebirth journey and in my attempt to inspire others to follow their dreams-especially if you are a mother who simply does not have any free time!

    • that is very sweet of you! yes we almost did this year, but it didn’t work out. Actually my third just started walking 3 days ago, and of course looks like a duck!

  2. Rasha, your site has a great energy and the images are beautiful. I look forward to exploring further!

    I love that you are consciously following what you feel compelled to do. That can be a tough thing as a busy mom! I have a 5 1/2-year-old and a 16-month-old, and I know how it can take a conscious effort to make time for what brings YOU inspiration and fulfillment.

    • Thank you for your sweet words. It is definitely a challenge, my eldest is 5 1/2 too, along with a 2 1/2 year old and a 15 months old. I sometimes wonder if I’m too ambitious for this phase of life! But it’s important to know that there are many mothers out there doing this, we just have to keep trying :)

    • So I tried to figure out your name but couldn’t! Thank you so much for your sweet comments, I’ve enjoyed poking around your blog as well :)
      I started at the University of Bahrain for 2 yaers then to the American University in Sharjah, and finally graduated from Rutgers in NJ!

        Waw you have a rich experience! You must have enjoyed every bit! :) I’ve studied at the American University of Beirut, don’t know if you’ve got the chance to visit it, but its campus is always a delight for architects :) Glad to have met you here in the cyber space! ;)

      • Well, it is a rich experience when I look at it now, at the time I hated it! I just wanted to finish my degree and graduate, which after all the moves shifted from architecture to graphic design. But my heart still melts for architecture! I haven’t been to AUB, but I heard so much about it. Next time I make it to Beirut, you’ll have to take me around :)
